Ken Sawada

  1. I was researching somewhat pricey books, and (long story short) I came across a website that seems to be Ken Sawada's. He ties some epic salmon stuff, and a host of other cool patterns. Thought I would share.

  3. I looked - some of the materials are pretty exotic. Last time I was in the fly shop (Pacific Fly Fishers - go team) they were out of Yellow McKaw
     

  4. Yeah, and I think a single Jock Scott is about $350.

    But I found a copy of his book on salmon flies, and it was $1000. So I figured the internet pictures were a pretty good win ;)

  7. a friend of mine got a copy of his book on tube and shank flies. It is some inspirational stuff.
     
  8. A buddy recently gave me a couple spools of his flat mono running line, I haven't tried it out on the long rods yet.
