So I was looking through regs on some Westside lakes today, just to make sure I remembered everything correctly.

I somehow remembered a lot of lakes (Beaver Lake, Pine Lake, Green Lake) being no combustion motors, electric only. Now that I'm looking at it again, it seems that they are now allowed or not written in the fishing regs. Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?

    Thanks!

    Hi Mark,
I found Beaver Lake (king) and realized that it's no longer listed as no combustion engines. Just wondering if this is correct.

My copies of the prior two years show Beaver has been the same as listed in the current regs.
Might be a local community sign at the lake indicating this to keep noise level down.
I have not fished it in years.

Look at King County lake management rules. Counties set rules on most lakes, not the state. WDFW only sets rules on selective gear or fly only lakes. Lone Lake is an example where there rules by the state for fishing AND rules by the county on outboard use.

Mark, thanks for look up the past few years for me!

This really makes sense. I will be sure to check the county pages. Thanks!

This is really helpful. Thanks guys!
You too Lue, for a good laugh and remembering back on the large cruisers that would end up on pine lake for the little trout opener.
