Leech Lake

    Port Orchard, WA, USA.
    Some buddies and I are headed to Leech Lake in a couple of weeks. Not ever having been there I would appreciate any info/tips anyone could pass along. Good patterns, line type,camping facilities,etc. for this time of year. Thanks.

    dry flies along the reed line is another thought. Worked for me on one Labor Day trip.

    Damsels and caddis flies. Evening mayfly hatches. Water isnt very deep so just an intermediate line will work for streamers. Leaches in claret and olive have always worked best for me. Cast to the reeds and dont be afraidto actually cast inside them. There are tons of fish in there hiding out near open water.
