John had to bow out so James is in.
Sounds like a steely pattern looking forward to it. Might have to get out the wide lens.
OK, I think I've got 10 done, I'll finish up the next few and get them out the week. And, it fels like a cop-out, btu they're small black buggers with tan flash. I've used a number of different leech patterns and this is always the one that works best for me, so it may be common, but it's the best leech I've found where I fish...
so I'm looking at a size 4 palmered marabou articulated leech in black and green
Guys, I'm not going to be able to finish this one. James Mello is going to ty mine for me if you don't mind. I have to move and have been dealing with some crap lately. Let me know if this is not kosher.
Been busy lately but finally started to tie mine yesterday. I should be done with them on Sunday and I will mail them from work on Monday. Simple size 10 Rabbit and Uni yarn leech I have used that has worked well for me over the years.

Still got a couple more to get done. Will probably go out on the 28th.
Thanks Daryle, gallery photo is now updated with recipe...
This is a very interesting swap with so many different sizes and patterns. I'll try to do a collage at the end of the swap to show it.
Got started last night, hope to be done this Friday.
I'm tying a Marabou leech with an articulated hook. It's unweighted to make it easier to cast, and is a size 6. I'm really trying to tie it for the still water, full sink (or intermediate) kind of situation... the color choice will be burgandy, brown and black.
Mine went in todays mail. Should be there by Wed.
Got hikepat's today, sweet tie, will post photos tonight or tomorrow. Need recipe when you get a chance.
Size 10-streamer hook Mustad 9672
Thread Olive 8/0
Tail Olive rabbit strip fur cut away from skin
Body Uni Yarn Kaki Reg 2X
Collar Rabbit strip fur Olive cut away from skin one matchsticks
worth on both top and bottom of hook with a little torque of the
thread to spin it slightly down the sides of the hook
Guess I better get mine done, gave the last one to my barber, almost forgot the toe tag. Be prepared for some awesome leech patterns guys, but be prepared for Scotts, you might have to duck when this one comes whizzing by your noggin.
Just put the head cement on my last fly. I'd describe them as subtle, ugly, and deadly on my favorite lakes.
They'll go in the mail on Monday, with a bunch of extras fro Daryle!:thumb:
finishing up tonite. I'll be mailing them out tommorow. It's a pretty simple palmered marabou articulated leech.
