Been working nonstop the past few month to pay for my upcoming wedding, and I'm just getting burned out. I decided last night that I couldn't take it any longer, and had to hit the beach. Originally I planned to just head out right after work and fish till dark. I live five minutes from PNP, so it's convenient. Then last night I had the brilliant thought that I could get up super early and fish the first hour or so before I had to leave for work, so thats what I did. I was standing on the beach at 0400 and waited a bit till I could see enough to cast. 2 other fly fishers showed up a short time later, and by the time I left there was another 3 or 4 gear guys. Fished till about 6 before I had to tear myself away and head into Bremerton. Had one shaker to hand and that was it. No other hits, no other fish seen. Water looked super fishy, but nothing happening. Doesn't matter, felt so nice to get out finally, and discovered that my Helios 10' 6 wt will absolutely LAUNCH an Airflo 40+ 7 wt line.

Anyway, I'll be back out this evening until dark. If anyone is out and about be sure to say hi.

I fished that area not be mentioned, on Monday as a first time saltwater newbee. After practicing catching sculpin, I had the pleasure of feeling the tug of four salmons on my 6 wt rod, with a reel that had no working drag. Not one was landed, but it was rush to feel the power of the fish on the fly. I am looking forward to the next trip with my fishing buddies, Eric and Paul.

Hit the north fork Snoqualmie for a change of scenery from my usual haunts on the south fork.

Only managed one steelhead this time, back to the south fork I go.

    Any publicity is good publicity

Since you seem to have trouble reading, I'll just copy this here again for you to work through. I know it's compicated, but do your best....
A couple seasons ago there was a string of reports one week about a particular beach. I had been fishing said beach pretty consistently for weeks and had a good feel about "normal" pressure on a given day. It was always crowded, but there was always room to get a spot and do some fishing. On average there would be 2-3 fly fisherman at the beach (including me) who were mostly "regulars" with the occasional 1 or 2 visitors - no big deal. After a few good reports that week, I showed up on the beach to see the area I normally fish completey crowded with fly fisherman. Both days that weekend there were probably 10+ fly guys on the beach making it nearly impossible to fish. They crowded out the "regulars" (both gear and fly fisherman) and made for a very unenjoyable experience those days. The were tangling lines with other fisherman, wading out in areas that blocked others, and generally just didn't know what they were doing nor take the time to observe what others around them were doing. That is the kind of pressure we don't want, even at a popular beach. You don't fish busy beaches? Great then shut up and get out. If you do (on any sort of regular basis) you must understand what we're saying and your just being a dick. Either way you're just a troll....

    PNP
Acronym for "Party N Play." Party means smoke or inject crystal methamphetamine (speed) into your system. N Play refers to the marathon sex that follows after you're all jacked up on speed and want to "Play" all night.
Looking to PNP with Tina. Looking for guys who want to PNP with me all night. Looking to PNP and have WILD sex.
    p n' p
A slang term used in the porn film industry. An extreme close up of the "pucker and pimples", ie. ass shot. May or may not involve penetration.
    "Zoom in closer- I wanna see p n' p"

    Pnp
A term coined in early 2011 to mean "Porn and Pizza". It was a night created to sit down with a group of friends and spend a decent amount of time watching porn for the sole value of critiquing it. No sex is generally had on nights of PnP, but lots of laughs are usually shared.

Most PnP nights are held by gay men accompanied by women as well as bottles of wine and pizza from the local provider.

"Are we still on for PnP? Last time the fetish section was kind of dull."
    PNP
Poo and Pee, or Pee and Poo. Definition is dynamically generated depending on which comes out first. Can be used while chatting and a bathroom break is needed.
Hold that thought for a moment. I need to PNP.
