Don't I look good in uniform? Too bad I'm not sportin the fro though. I doubt it'd fit under our hats. You guys see the woman who got the 41 in Elliot Bay last week. Here she is... (1/3 way down page)

...a little outta my age range, but you know, at this rate, I'm pretty desperate! (just kidding) Good times.

Has anyone noted the incongruity in someone called Trooper "Rut" posting on WWF for a woman. Change your name to Trooper Spawn or go post for females on the WDH (Washington Deer Hunting) website. :ray1:

It's not WWF it's WFF...two totally different entities. Secondly, you don't have to read any of this if you don't want. Thanks Tim on the kudos. I will keep the weather reports streaming in as they become available. It's one of my hobbies...weather terminology and forecasting. Weather is vital to fly-fishing, and thus it will be a good "information" thread for those looking for weather information. At first, "Trooper Spawn" was a blow, but "you're pretty fly for a white guy," so I'm down. Take care!

No, troop, I've read it all. Twice now. OK... it's WFF, not WWF. My clerical mistake. My post was, to quote Foghorn Leghorn... " a joke... I say, that's a joke, son". No animosity intended. It wasn't critical of you personally.

PS: I'm an Emmylou fan from ages ago.

PSS: Seems we posted on top of each other. We're cool. Welcome aboard.

That was pretty grim. Ha I just wanted to be popular and post like everyone else, plus I am at work and not were I want to be (in bed or on the water). Who thinks up this working on the weekends b.s. anyhow, I want to meet that idiot.

It's Big Stick.... I'm telling you. I know most of you won't understand but some of you guys must visit the dark side from time to time.

As for weather reports, keep 'em to yourself. Or just PM those that seem to be interested. Flooding in Washington.... Noooooo.... Weather is vital to fly fishing. Weather is actually vital to every living thing on earth. But if I had read the weather reports I may have stayed off the river this morning. That wouldn't have been a good choice. Check out this graph. Looks like the flooding hit the Sky pretty hard... Glad I was out there to witness it.

Good sarcasm. As far as the flooding goes, you're going to see a sharp rise in rivers around here and it will catch the novices off guard. It will make my job easier and others' on the front line. If you don't need the weather report(s), then don't read em' bud.

And unless you are a complete idiot, when the rivers start to rise either start rowing for the takeout or take one step back. And then when it rises a bit more take another step back. We live in Western Washington, already have 3 local tv channels with up to date "PINPOINT SEVERE WEATHER FORECASTS" and now we have to be inundated with it on a fly fishing site. You're right though, I just don't need to read. When some folks post here I check in to see what they have to offer. With others, well.... Time to start my day.

All this talk of rain and rising rivers...has anyone yet seen Jim Forman on location, being pummeled by torrential rains, standing in knee-deep water? NO! That's because he's not worried about a little rain- hell, Danger Jim is fishing, because someone's got his back.
