    IMO, rather than just hooking her up with any old dog, maybe look around first and find a suitable dog? There are lots of resources available on the web as well as clubs that can point you in the right direction.

    It should garner a little more planning than a week and a half.

    I hope she's at least had her hips OFA'd.
