Do I detect the green eyed monster rearing his head?
You are welcome to come along and stand on the rock also.

I watched that happen on the Methow this weekend. A 19 year old literally asked this other guy if he could stand and fish off the same rock as him. Cracked me up. The guy believe it or not said yes and then the young guy proceeded to catch a fish on his third or fourth cast.

Good luck out there guys, this is a taking care of the kids weekend while the wife works.

Now that is funny, right there. You see some strange things on a steelhead stream sometimes.

I fished it yesterday, and even on a wednesday there were like a dozen or so people at reiter cleaning up the last, sad run of tired summer fish. I caught one of said tired summer fish on my second cast. There are some chum down lower, but it has been really hit or miss with finding a cruising pod of fish, but again, caught one of said fish. both were under a bobber on the switch rod, so you are able to pick them up without getting too dirty. I'll be floating tomorrow, so I'll give another brief report when we get off the water.
