    Marty, thanks for the heads up! Been in the market for new boots and these look like the ticket.

    Marty, when you say you ordered them, how did you feel comfortable knowing how they fit? I hate new shoes, their break in seems to take forever with me. Then there's the issue of size/fit. Some boots run big, some small. How true to your shoe size were the Zephers?

    Roper - spot on with the Renegades, which REI carries. That level of Lowas boot comes out of the same factory, built on the same last. You could go to your local REI and try a pair of Renegades for comparison.

    Note that I am testing LLB's upland boot now. It is surprisingly robust, light and comfy, but too wide for an everyday hunting boot on my foot. If the Renegades feel too narrow consider the LLB boot.
