It's that time of the year again, to start changing things up to get these coho to bite as they start to turn off to the go to baitfish patterns we have been using all summer. Last couple days I have had several fish bite on first cast after a fly change. Fun stuff! image.jpg image.jpg

Gob, is this in a traveling area or an estuary/staging area? I've thought about switching up to a staging type fly in the salt recently but haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the report.

These fish are about a 1/2 mile from the mouth of the bay/estuary/staging area.

Thanks man. If it's slow over the weekend I'll switch it up and see if it makes a difference.
