Hit a popular MA9 beach this AM. Rain wasn't too bad, but LOTS of turbidity and chunks of driftwood in the Sound, especially near the outflowing stream on this beach. Picked up a pink at high tide right after another fly caster next to me landed one. My fish looked like it had survived a recent seal encounter, as it had wounds on both it's back and belly. Hopefully the water gets back in shape soon. Fly guys 2-2, gear guys 0-1.

Talked to my dad today. He was 1/6 around high tide on a popular MA9 beach. One of those days he couldn't get them to stick around. On Thurday, just before the storm hit, he limited in about an hour. When he left he said that over 75% of the people there had a fish on. Huge school moved through. Good news is there seem to be plenty of fish around. I just got up to his house and we are going for the early morning, first light high tide. Conditions should be awesome.
