That Mako video was pretty sweet when the big one was jumping clear out of the water - that would be a rush!

I just got back from SD and the Mako trip is a blast, it was definately one of the highlights of my fly fishing life. I'll post a web-page about the trip as soon as I get it done but let's just say I felt like I was in Jaws. I ended up only fishing a morning because of bad weather but got 2 blues and a 125 lbs. mako on the fly rod (blues on a 10-weight, mako on a 14). I would highly recommend anyone going to San Diego to call up Conway Bowman or Dave Trimble (www.bowmanbluewater.com) and get out and experience it.

The beach and bay fishing was incredible too - I ended up with 7 corbina for the 4 days on the beach along with tons of surfperch. In the bay I got lots of spotted bass and barred bay bass along with some croaker and mackerel.
