Marine Pile Worm

    Ok...so I'm breaking my New Year's resolution and posting a fly I tied while drinking too much. She may not be the prettiest thing but I liked how the technique worked making the tail portion. It is a furled dubbing loop...the dubs I used weren't the same consistency or size but I think once that gets fixed that it would turn out sweet. I finished this off with just some rubber dub with a barred red schlappen. Will have to work out the body later.

    So...will this pass for a MPW? Never seen one before so I'm a bit lost on size and such. Any suggestions on that and color?

    Oh Hell Ya, I bet a couple of monster stripers developed a nervous twitch the second you posted that! Nice tie E, I'd like to see how you built the tail, it would be great for largemouth as well.
