Just a reminder. Flies need to have a postmark for today!

Sorry Ned! :) I forgot to send $$ again for the MVP, it will be in with the next group of flies. I don't care either way about changing the category either, I will probably do an emerger though.

Looks like the need for emergers is winning out. I'll probably stick with the original PMD plan, it's a good working pattern.

I am going to go ahead and say terrestrials are fair game. That being said, lets try to keep away from the really easy terrestrial patterns. I imagine most will be doing emergers and I think that is a good thing.

    Thanks Ned!

As for the terrestrial/emerger decision i'm fine with each choice.

    Now comes the choice.

For an emerger I could tie a Yellow May (Little evening sulpher dun or evening yellow dun)

Or I could tie a foam beetle pattern that I think no one will be disappointed with.

    ChuckNGear,

Got your flies today for the next this month and next. Are the beadheads your emerger pattern?

I will take picks and divide up flies tonight for the post office tomorrow.

Holy crap! Received the flies today. I wish this marathon could go on forever, you guys are great. Xdog, my seven year old son came over to the flies as I was looking at them and pointed at yours and said "that must be Xdog's". Thank you all.

Glad you guys are happy with the swap. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am very pleased with the way things are going. Everyone did a great job with the packaging/postage/toe tag etc. We are 3/5 of the way through and still have 12 accounted for. Keep up the good work! If you don't, you will hear from me!!

Pictures are ready and waiting for the gallery thread to come up.

Got to echo all of the other comments as well. I don't think I can ever fish with xdog's flies because I don't want to lose them - just want to save them for posterity so I can someday say "yeah, i swapped flies with that guy..."

    Again kudos to everyones flies!:thumb:

I'm impressed as usual and can't wait to try them out soon.

And I don't need to stroke X-Dogs ego either. You guys are doing a good job of that already:clown:.

I got my flies as well and was again very impressed with the quality of all the flies. There is not a bad tie in the bunch as was the case with the nymphs and streamers. Thanks for all for the kind comments. I am looking forward to emergers/terrestrials although I am am still struggling with making my pattern ideas happen. Congratulations to all on work well done and thankyou Ned for making this happen.

    Tight lines gentlemen,
