Stopped by Minter Creek yesterday for a look-see...no fish yet! If you don't like to "mingel" with the snaggers and what not, why not try fishing at night? It's legal, and you just about have the place to yourself....no crowds.
chum don't usually start to show there til around mid Nov. Right now I believe its illegal to target anything but the minute quantities of SRC.
Yeah i dont bother going there unless its hightide ha less gear chuckers out there. There is even some steel in that creek.
Usually around Thanksgiving is the best time for Minter. I know I when I delivered out there I'd start fishing it a week or two before Thanksgiving and really hit it hard around turkeyday. I know some of my best days were fishing the day after thanksgiving (it's a paid holiday at UPS, but I'd work it so I could go fish out there and take my lunchbreak at the creek).
