Congratulations on your first. You're a goner now, another productive life ruined. Soon you'll be living in a van down by the river.

Looks like a winter run buck in pre-spawn condition. Good picture of the Stilly too; note that there is way more sand than gravel and cobble. It used to be different, honest.

Right on... the first fish I caught I almost squeezed in half I was so excited.

Just for reference you're supposed to keep native fish in the water. Because yours is out of the water a lot of feelings get hurt and there will be a denzien of internet nannies thumbing their noses and crying in their cosmos tonight....

Awesome fish - congrats on catching your first fish on the swing. Too cool.

yeah just like fighting a fish for five min and it jumping multiple time is doing less than 3 secs out of the water for a picture..........

The law was probably put in place to save the fish from people who insist on having 15 hero pictures taken over the course of 10 minutes with the fish out of the water.

The only way to stop that was saying.... ok.... no more out of the water. Enjoy it while you can. Pretty soon, no smiling in pictures.
