I'm looking to build another travel rod and have not been able to locate what I am after so far. My first chioce would ba a 4 or 5 pc. fast action 10.5' to 11.5' 7wt to use as a switch (single/double hand) rod for larger rivers. DOes anyone have any mfg's in mind that have what I'm looking for?

Dan Craft have an excellent swithch blank. I have been having a blast catching Coho on my 11'6" Rainshadow. It's light enough to use (at least occasionally) as a single hander, but it spey casts well, and it's easy to one hand while you retrieve.

Give Bob Meiser a call. You can tell him I sent you. You will be glad you did.
