I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with any new and easy crawfish patterns. I have never tied a crawfish pattern and there are so many to choose from. If anyone could help me out with any suggestions i'd appreciate it,thanks.

Actually, a pretty simple imitation that works most of the time is a brown/rootbeer color woolly bugger, tied with dumbell eyes so it rides hook up. You can throw some rubberlegs on it and fish it in short scoots along the bottom. Jeff

Also, try a burnt orange/olive marabou tailed, olive cheniile bodied, grizzly hackeled wool bugger. Throw some rubber legs and you have a winner. I hav some more complicated ones but i rarely carry them any more.

when crawfish swim their claws tuck back and look as one, which is what a properly fished bugger does. Easy to tie too.
