Note that the steelhead depicted has a fin clipped.

I think that's supposed to be just a rainbow. And regardless, I'm confident that it was the artist's creative liberty that hides the adipose. I cannot imagine a world in which WDFW would so cunningly fin clip a fish on their logo. I mean, right?

When can I get these as fadable window stickers for my rig?

<sarcasm> No way. WDFW does not care about trout. They are all about anadromous fish. In fact, within anadromous fish I am surprised they depicted a steelhead instead of a salmon. Must've been Kent's influence that drove them to that compromise.

As for the adipose clipping, I am for once in my life going to put a stake in the ground and declare a conspiracy a-la Faux News. </sarcasm>

And no Carp? I thought Carp on the Fly was going to be fly-fishing's new savior?

These are absolutely awesome. I'm glad they were able to complete this before any of that nasty budget cutting started.

Sorry Larry but that can't be a Triploid. The fish on the logo actually has fins. ;)

Goes to show what a sad paradigm our fisheries has for trout. What will be next, worn fins?

What is that funny glowing thing behind the WWashington fish? Are they suggesting spotlighting is legal now because I lived there long enough to know that couldn't be the sun..

    Jim,
You might want to get one of these for your rig. The "out of staters" might read it
and go fish Washington thinking you're on to something.

It seems that when ever they show picture of a fish, they show that side of them. You get tired of the same old view all the time.

If I was going to put a fish picture on my truck It would have to be a Brownie.
