New rod i built

    Here are some pics. of a rod i just finished.It was my first feather inlay.I have built about 15 rods and like the way this one turned out.It is a Pac Bay custom series blank.It is an older blank that they dont make anymore.It is a 9' 3wt.Let me know what you think.

    Very nice. Really like the feather inlay. Looks very smooth. Seems like most I've seen have a lot of buildup. Is the Pac Bay custom series blank a mid flex?

    I think so.They are not all that fast.They were fast back when they were made.They are a IM7 blank.I was given 8 different blanks.I used them to practice before i bought something more expensive.

    I dont think so.They all came to me in pac bay packaging.
    Buy the way,went to your site.Very nice work!Maybe someday mine will be as good as yours.
