    Just a quick question,
I am a daily browser and a occasional participant and have been for over a year, yet when I submit a message adjacent to my name it says "New to the board".
What is reason for that? Am I being weird?

It's the content of your posts. This website has an uncanny ability to discern those who are new to the board from those who aren't :) Just kidding! You can change that...I just don't remember how. I think that subheading is default. If you go into your account and fiddle with settings and options, you can change it. How's that for some techy talk.

It's number of posts... After you have 50 or so, it changes to member. I think one can also modify it in the profile.

Trevor got it, but it changes at 30 posts. Change it if you like in the User CP area, which you will find a link for towards the top of every forum page.
