I've enjoyed the pictures of other people's tying desks. One of the things I discovered in looking at other desks is that you can't have too many drawers.

This project took quite a while with all of the drawers and hand cut dovetails. Here it is.

WoW, is right! and having it outdoors will provide lots of natural light to tie by. ;)

You should cross post this on the Arts and Literature Forum. The desk is a work of art.

Fantastic piece of furniture. Shame you have to cover it up with all of your tying crap.

Beautiful desk! Truly a work of art that looks like it will be quite functional as well. If you ever decide to take any orders I'm all about it!

The dovetails refer to the way the pieces of wood are joined. See the next to last photo. Look for the dove tails.

"Dove Tails": A new Genetic Hackle that is the new essential fly material. Also nearly impossible to obtain because every teenage girl (i.e. my grand daughters) has one stuck in their hair for $20 a feather.

Takoda, this is an amazing wood work of art. Thanks for sharing, now STOCK IT UP!
