A Sage 590-4VPS, Unused, in the factory cordura tube, with blank unconditional lifetimewarranty card. Never cast. This is a 5 weight, 4 piece, 9'0" rod.

I have six 5 weights, including 2 other Sages, and just have too many sticks.

If you know Sage rods, this rod taper is one of their best all-around tapers, ever. It has great touch, and still has power to punch a big bug in to the wind or put a whuppin' on a tough fish. How do I know? I own the twin to this rod, as well as two others like it in 4 weight.

PM me if interested. Thanks for your time!

    Richard

    Richard ,

You are right, they are a nice rod and it would be a nice price if Cabelas was not closing them out for under 200.00.

    Richard,

I should have added I would be interrested in one of the 4wt. if you are willing to sale it for under 200.00.

    Thanks Rick

Yep, if they were indeed under $200 (my understanding is they were on sale for $200 several weeks ago, when Cabela's had them) and if they had some to sell you (they don't have any). :)

    Sold!

Thanks, Shane! You will love the rod. It's a great balance of fishability, power, and durability.

And, you're getting a US-made rod for an Asian-made rod price.
