    The second half of my sports thread. lol.:rofl: but seriously, the huskies are 7-0 with a win against a very solid team. We have a week schedule this year with miami not playing us in the BCA classic and games against teams that nobodys heard of. I know itz a little early to think about the ncaa tourney. But its clear that the huskies atleast SHOULD be in it if you know what i mean;) . The reason we got our #1 seeding last year was all the quality wins against teams like 3 seeded oklahoma, 3 seeded arizona, 5 seeded alabama, 6 seeded utah, and a NC state team that did well in the tourney. So how does everyone think the dawgs will do when i comes time to filll in the brackets? My personal opinion is that the they will get a high seed but will be hurt by the strength of schedule. The other side of it is the pac 10 is a little stronger this year so that could help counter the weak non conference schedule but i dont think that is enough to get us another 1 seed unless we win all our games or win all but 1.

    Might be a little too early for this post, time will tell how the Pac-10 conference will be. Arizona didnt look to good last week in their loss. But the Huskies looked pretty good against the Zags. We will have to wait a few more weeks to see how the Dawgs are going to fare

    The only other team im impressed with in the pac 10 is oregon, i know cal got leon powe back, az state has been playing decent ball, ucla and standford have some players but oregon has stood out to me.

    I was wondering, do you know how to use captial letters. A person,place or a thing, should be started with capital Letters.;)

    You go to school and this should be old hat for you.:(

    One would think that the young man that wrote this would use them as he is still in high school and he should be doing that when he does school work. And one would think that it would carry over to his typing.

    But then again they really don't teach that in high school. All they seem to care about is what they get on their test scores and they are in school everyday so the teachers get their pay.

    I think that schools are a sore subject to me.

    Jim, today we have a wave of youngersters who communicate this way on the computor. Perhaps because it is the one place they can live without grammer rules :confused:

    That was a hell of a game against the Zags. I still can't believe how good Morrison is. After watching Zag/Mich. St. on TV I thought Morrison was good...and then I saw him in person at the UW game and I am impressed even more. Does anyone else think he looks goofy?
    I'm optimistic about this year. Both Dentmon and Appleby stepped it up, picking up Brandon's slack. I'll go with sweet 16.

    I have a granddaughter who is 14 and if you write to her it better be in correct english because she will correct you on it.

    On the other hand it helps you in life. But I guess nobody cares.

    high school helps but talking on aim makes you type like this. Theres a whole language out there that teens have made up. Some of the simpler ones that alot of ppl know are lol, ttyl, brb, l8r, g2g, and besides, how nerdy would i look to other teens if i used proper grammer

    l8r = later
    g2g = got to go
    brb = ?
    ttyl = ?
    lol = lots of luck

    I don't know those two nor can I recall seeing them....what are they?
    if you use proper english (or better grammer, because I'm very guilty of poor grammer) it will impress your future employers/college recruiters but most of all.....it will keep the OM off your back...but I'm not sure he knows what good grammar is...He's more concerned with capital lettering (not capitial) when he should concentrate on his spelling.

    Realistically proper grammar wont get you not very far in life neither will "good" grades in high school. It is sad that so much emphasis is placed on these pointless topics in our schools. Anyway the topic of this post is NFR Dawgs as in huskies mens basketball. I am kinda tired of so many posts changing topics after five replies.

    The Cougs slowed down the Zags last night but in the end couldnt quiet Morrison. I cant wait to get back to Washington and watch some real sports especially the Cougs vs. Dawgs basketball game
