I told someone on here a few months back that I would send them a selection of bugs... I got his email with address but have seemed to lost it. I found the box of bugs in my tie'n crap the other day. Can't remember the name of the poster though?? Someone else was gonna send this college kid some flies also to help him out... anyone remember? Does he still post here?

Like you, Backyard, I have this same feeling that I owe some flies, but to whom?

I get flies from time to time from guys who want me to try them out and then some are gifts with no expectation of anything.

Yet, it seems like I owe but I can't remember the dude's address or what the deal was. Anyway, I'm a fair and honorable guy and I do strive to keep things right. Drop me a PM and we can discuss what happened and what needs to be done.

Bob, the Sorry to hang on to your post, Backyard, but it seemed a good place to air my own problem.

It wasn't this college kid. But, I'd love some flies! I have now lost 3 of 4 of my fly boxes. I blew it.

Well I just got four flies from Dave(wetline) but he hasn't named them yet. Am going to try them the next time I manage to make it out and see how they do.

I remember the guy you are talking about, I sent him some flies as a consolation prize for my sob story contest. I think the thread was titled "free flies to a good home". If I get a minute I'll do a search.

Well if I remember right you did send some free flies to a dumb guy. But he doesn't know a thing about fishing chiromids(sp). But he keeps trying some every now and then. If I was smart that way they would probably work. But alas I'm not.

Thanks! Found the thread and have emailed him. Doesn't look like he's posted much after that.

College kids don't need flies. You should study, study, study and then study some more. When you get rich and famous from all the studying then you can go fishing LOL!
So just send all those flies to me so you won't be distracted from your studies! And don't look at girls either! They are bad for your GPA. You could send them to me too, but I doubt if they are into the grandfather thing. But if they are I am willing to save you from the distractions. That is just the kind of guy I am. Always willing to help someone get ahead!
