:beer2: That I am. I'm sansei (third generation). Still have an auntie in Shizuoka-ken, and relatives on the Fraser in Lillooet, BC. It's a riot to listen to my cousin Kenji talk to his Mum, who doesn't like to speak english. A nipper McKenzie Brother, eh. And yes, by all means, Leland- and Yasuhiro-san should be included.

    Bhudda,

Please check your spelling (or to see if your key board is stuck). "Watchu tink" is German. The diminuative "Vatchu tink" is Russian. Look at "tong" in the appendix, you will see that the third person singular present indicitive 'Thyncth' or 'to seem', might be closer to what you meant. "Nothing", or "No Tink" derives from a Canadian English reference to Americans of no distinct or determinable nationality (lineage) who don't like nymphs of any race.

But back to your thread: Barbeque! Yes! Now real Barbeque needs no sugar...

Trust an old white guy on this one...you'd better take over the world BEFORE you take over the white women. Those REAL white women are high maintenance and you're gonna need ALL your legal tender to keep 'em on the farm. ;)

It's a two-way street. As a Merchant Seaman, I can state categorically that there is a surprising (?) number of white guys who agree with this. The number of red-blooded American male expats grows larger every day.

I am pork (the other white meat), but two of my best fishing buddies are filipino, and I love me some lumpia....

does that me I am in?

plus, I have seen one sexually assault a deer with doritos once.

    :)

Anybody placing the average white woman over the average Filipina in the maintenance department is beyond clueless. Except maybe in one department which I have on record is something JJ doesn't do anyway.

    Just say'n

Sure Mike, as soon as you cook up some dinagoan (sp?) and mow down. Oh and for the readers, I do not know what he is talking about in regards to the doritos. You should ask the bearded Filipino.

we have decided when we rule the world to give you some monor dukeships (a small euro counrty or a few u.s. states perhaps?) in an effert to get you to forget the past and look forward to filipino rule and complete fyfishing domination. we will be kind and just (or kindajust?) rulers.

    your genetically superior ruler, Jay

I'm think'n I might be one of the very few if not only responders on this thread that actually has lived under Filipino rule (except for those with pinoy wives or mothers). It wasn't fun or just but I suspect JJ could even do better (since he aint married to Imelda for a start.

You guys are making me hungry, think I'll stop over at Alicia's Market in Kalihi on my way to the TU meeting tonight. My wife is off to a Korean Soap Opera fanclub meeting tonight. Are any of you old enough to remember when we use to buy San Miguel beer for $1 a case in Manila?

    Aloha,
    Stan

my pops tells of many nights in bed with san miguel for a buck a case. a few years ago i went to a tu meeting on oahu. very funny is the fact that there is no trout on the island but T.U. is strong like a wwf wrestler.

there is great flip food in the international market. have you tried it?
