Seems like I can read all the new posts, on five other sites before I get the first page of WFF.com to come up. The miracle of highspeed cable.

I know it's been slow the last two mornings. I wonder if this is when Mr. Scoones is doing his server maintenance?

EWU grad! It's not his fault.;)
Just kidding, Andy. EWU is probably held in higher regard than it's centrally located cousin.

I think EWU is held in higher regards than Cental, but only by those that went to Central.

Sorry Matt. The current server has reached it's limits with WFF and a few of the other sites it runs. We're looking at migrating soon to another server.

What time in the AM have you experienced the slowdowns.?

    Chris,

I've had some problems accessing the site throughout the week and specifically this morning at about 8:45am, I was getting a site not found error. Can't remember what time I actually connected though.

Thought it might have been my connection at work, but guess not.

It is unix but it seams it wasn't scaled properly. Probably was at the time but the sites grown in proc usage quite a bit between the board and gallery which both run php. I don't have all the specs yet on the new server but it's supposed to be pretty incredible in speed and stability.

Thanks Chris. 7 to 9 seems to be the worst times all this week. You are the master blaster. Thanks again for everything.

sounds like that would definitely be the problem. We run NT servers at work and there Dogs! we are going to UNIX this year I can't wait. We handle millions of hits everyday being a bank and all. :smokin
