I can't believe I wasted 2 mins of my life skimming through this and then another 1 minute posting here. I'll never get it back.

2 minutes through 7 pages of posts is FAST for a Texan! Took me 2.5 minutes to skim but only .5 to respond so it looks like a wash.

Just funnin' ya from a former (Arlington) Texan.:D

Ya Tim, all I needed to see were the first couple posts to know where it was goin. There's no such thing as a "former" Texan by the way. ;)

You, on the other hand, are not well spoken for a Seattleite.

It's yall, not you guys Lyle. And by the way, good taste on the Lyle thing. Not so much on your number choice.

    It's "Ya'll" (note the Apostrophe)

Regardless of whether you are a well spoken Seattleite, if you are a Lyle Lovette fan you must have "An Acceptable Level of Ecstasy". Or "I've Been to Memphis", to be accredidated.

It's almost 1am. Gotta sleep. Night all.

    Home Page:
I read several different user recreational forums (paragliding, hiking, climbing, kayaking, fly fishing, writing, travel, etc.) and my observations suggest there are always posts like Allison's that question the worth of the forum's current status. No forum is perfect, but most have value and I think WFF has more value than most -- you just need to learn to seperate the wheat from the chaff. (BTW: I know, like and respect Allison -- I first hired her to help with gear reviews for Washington Trails magazine -- www.wta.org --more than a decade ago). I'm relatively new to this forum but have been fly fishing the west for 25+ years. I'm no expert, but I am an experienced fly fishing hacker.

In the interest of keeping this forum positive, this morning I posted a fishing report from the North Fork Clearwater/Kelly Creek in the Trip Reports forum here http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/board/showthread.php?t=59135

The thread is just fine when half the people are on the ignore list.

As always, no consensus. This thread should end.
