I will not argue ..... thoroughly enjoyed that movie too :beer2:
A few others that I don’t think have been mentioned
Naked Prey Torture scenes still give me the creeps. Better chase scene than Apocayplto
Frailty Matthew McConaughey & Bill Paxton. Creepy! Hitchcock would have been proud to have made this one
The Hill The best WWII movie you never heard of. Sean Connery starred.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence John Wayne, Lee Marvin, and Jimmy Stewart; how could it miss?
Naked Spur Favorite western until The Unforgiven came along
Little Dieter Needs to Fly One of the best films that I have ever seen. I think it was last year that “Rescue Dawn” came out and this is the documentary of the downed pilot, Dieter Dengler, as told in his own words. I mean jaw dropping good.
Thank you Wadin’ Boot for reminding me about Das Boot; other than Saving Private Ryan, the only movie that ever I walked out after it ended and you could hear a pin drop
I don't know, man; Pulp Fiction has some serious quotable material in it. The first time I watched that movie, I was like "WTF"? A buddy convinced me to watch it again; each time I watch it, I catch some new nuance or quote, and it's just the most amazing flick. Plus, the cast is incredible.
The Guns of Navaronne (sp?). The Transporter.
And here I thought I was the only one who watched these over and over.
Actually what started this thread is DVD's I keep in the motor home so I can see them again .... and again ... and again. Both of the above are on the required list.:thumb:
Death Wish 2
Outlaw Josey Wales
Heartbreak Ridge (F you Major Powers)
Boondock Saints (Touretted-out bartender...classic)
Full Metal Jacket
Major League (Fuck you Jo-boo, I do it myself)
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but yours is wrong:ray1: The Big Lebowski is the most quotable movie of all time. It's not me saying that it's science. I'd explain it but my own head would explode.
Maude: "You can guess what happens after that."
The Dude: "He fixes the cable?"
I love when Maude asks him what he does for recreation : "Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.
