went fishing today and caught my first good sized largie! started off fishing for bass and then my dad nailed a really nice gill so switched over and started pounding em on topwater. it was great watching them float up from the deeper water and just SMACK the little panfish spider. the bass was insane it took a tiny fly. hopefully gonna go back again soon and get some more oh and one tragic event...lost a rod didnt notice it was wrapped around anchor rope...dropped anchor...sploosh...and no more fly rod bawling: pics of the fish are in gallery FTB95
Sweeet, I love the way gills come up out of no where and kinda hang before the take. Sorry to hear about the rod, bummer, bummer.
