I had intended to fish longer but got held up at work so went to plan B and hit a MA 10 beach. I only ended getting to fishing for a half hour before things weeded up.
I saw this fish porpoise out about 80'. Cover it with a cast using a chartreuse over hot pink clouser. Three stripS, water boils behind the fly and game on.
Hard to tell from the pic, but the fish had some color and very mature eggs.
Great sunset....I love this time of year. I wish we had Septembers and Octobers year round.

    Nice looking chunkster.
4-5 lbs? Hard to tell from
the pic. Every day is a day to
    go fish.

Nice fish. However, taking photos of fish on the rocks may send the wrong message. Not to nitpick, bit I also noticed some blood on the fish. I hope you revived the fish, and she went on her way.

i kid, i kid. You are a machine, Brian.
