    Hey, Golf, out of curiousty; how long did it take to get this rod from deposit to in hand? Wondering becuase I wonder how much time I'd have to conjur up the other $1500.00 after the deposit. :}

    I got it off a guy on the pages Pan. I tried to place an order for one before and the wife found out and reminded me of my daughters in college etc. "Poof" went that dream....Saw one come up and by the time I sent in a pm there was someone ahead of me...First guy passed after TWO WEEKS and thankfully Dave remembered me...
    So in a perfect world I paid on a monday and got it on a thursday..LOL..

    If your going to order one...If I was again...I would look at the 12' or 12'6" ... I love the 13' and your more then welcome to try mine if your ever around...

    In talking with Bob last May I asked the same question.

    Got "about 10 months" from the time you lay down a deposit after promising I wouldn't hold him to it. :)

    Cheers,

    So, basically I have 9 months to pull some money out of my ass. I think I can pull that off.

    Could you use two children? They're hard working and well behaved. They often sit on the river for hours on end with nothing but yogurt and rocks.

    Bob also told me about 10mos back in late April when I put down my deposit.

    I'm actually on the list for one of his single-hand trout rods but I'm thinking I might have enough 4wts and need to get in on the two-hander action...
