Spent the past day and a half on the North Stilly. Drifted from 127th St access(below Cicero) to Haller Park in Arlington yesterday and brought ten to the boat. Drifted Cicero bridge to 127th this morning and caught another five. We were fishing floating lines, 12 foot 3X leaders and #6-8 Muddlers, Silver Browns and Mickey Finns. The fish were dispersed. It is best to keep moving. One fish to a run was the norm. The river is low and easily wadeable. Keep your hooks barbless because there are lots of smolts.
