    :thumb: Hey Daryle,
Just like in College, I am squeaking under the due date. They will be in the mail tomorrow. Tied up something simple, unusual, and looking rather tasty. Toe tags include fly name and essential components.

By the way, Congrats James. Better start looking up Playschool fly patterns.....:D

Posted Randy's photo today, I would prefer all tiers to post their own recipe so I don't screw it up. LOL, plus my fingers can hardly type anymore.

Just as a heads up I'm still in! I had a kid come out of the wife 7 weeks early and I've been pretty busy with that At any rate, I'll be sending out my flies by the deadline

Could give you the gps cords for holy shit bay, but it's top secret. LOL

Daryle-thanks for doing all the hard work, especially while under substantial stress and change to your living environment.

    Here's my pattern recipe:

    Chironomid Floss pupa

Hook: Daiichi #1150 wide gape, bronze, in size #18
    Head: Silver glass bead
Body/abdomen: Red, 4-strand floss twisted and furled.
    Thorax: Peacock herl
    Gills: White Antron

Thanks again Daryle. Congrats on the new baby. Jeff

Eureka! I finally found a cool use for some "junk" material. It has passed the litmus test of my wife and I'll soon have them out! Hopefully you guys will be impressed as I'm pretty damn proud of the files I'll be sending out!

Mine are done, will post a photo tommorrow, Still waiting for Rory's and the Hog guy from Stanwood, (might have to run down there and help him finish up feeding the sows,;) James creation is on the way and mine might or might not catch a fish, I still think if I inject cod liver oil instead of mineral oil it might be more enticing to the critters.

Mine are done, I'll mail them tomorrow. I'll ship them next day so they'll be there on time. Sorry, I just got back from a week in New York, fun town. Not a single fly shop that I saw though... very dissapointing.

And I have never skipped out on a swap before. I've been late, but no skip outs.

Mine are finished and ready to mail. I juss gotta get someone to give me a ride to the post office. They will be out tonite or tommorow, probably tonite. I did skip a swap once but i gave notice a month before the due date, besides that i have never skipped out on a swap.

I think the flies are pretty damn good. My dogs hair is sort of a blackish brown blend. She stopped shedding so i had to give her a little hair cut, my mom got pissed off at me for it but it was worth it. Hope they catch some fish for you guys.

So just to suck a bit more... My baby had to go back into surgury today to fix a hernia, as such I didn't get the flies out. If you guys aren't to mad, is getting them to the swapmiester on monday cool? I've got 4 of those new fangled flies done, but it takes a while to get the rest out.... If this is a huge issue, just let me know and I'll try to make it up to you guys!

Bro, you don't have to even ask. We're hard core, but babies come before fly swaps. Now if your wife got a hernia...

Yeah... but my wife doesn't complain about Sh**.... More and more I'm starting to realize I'm a complete puss. My wife, C-Section, no narcotics, Advil for pain meds, up and running around in 12 hours.... James, small splinter, out like a like chewing on Percecet and Oxycoton, acting like I'm being killed by flesh eating bacteria....

My gut feel is if my wife gets a hernia, she'd strangle *IT* instead of the other way around.

    -- Cheers

Daryle, I've noticed you're right up north of me a little bit, in Mount Vernon. Where do you normally go fishing?
