    Ok, thank you about the information. By the way, i was reading a rod building book and it says that if you mount the guides over the inside of the curve you obtain more power in the forward cast but less power on the fish fight, is that ok????, i just want to built my rod with the maximum power to make long casts, thank you for all, and sorry if i write somethig wrong i´m from Argentina.

    It'll work great. I doubt you will notice much difference either way. I have only done 3 rods, but have been happy with all of them.

    I'd agree with Trevor. I'd say that if you're using any kind of decent quality blank it'll cast fine either way.
