I think we need an old man forum. So uses old men can fart and belch with out the young whipper snappers can't get offended.

I know of several that fit this bill. Maybe we could call it the "old Geezers forum"

WE can discuss when we first started out in the thing called fly fishing. Before all the fancy rods and reels and fancy lines. And before this thing called the internet. When wet flies were the thing.

There should be only two members. Old Man and someone of his choosing. They will be like the two old geezers on the Muppets. Sit above everyone and make sarcastic comments about everyone and everything.

I nominate OMJ and Krusty as the founding and maybe only members of the Old Geezer's Forum.

The great thing about the old codgers program, is you CRS but you can make up some pretty inventive lies as you go along.

If the truth is that the situation was not that at all, well, it should have been.

I think I started this so I could get to 17,000 posts. I did it.

I was thinking about this web site last night when I couldn't sleep. It didn't help. But I believe that I have been here even when I worked at the lazy "B". I retired in 1999. Living in the lap of poverty ever since and enjoying it.

The weather is supposed to be half assed nice today. So when I get through with my workout and the "Y". I'm going to go up and beat the waters to death on the Beaverhead. If it's windy I'll use my 6wt with the sinking head and throw some streamers around. If it isn't, I will be playing around with my 5wt. Don't know if I will use two flies or a dry. It sure is hell having to make decisions like this.

I wouldn't qualify quite yet, but I'd like to suggest that it be called the "Old Curmudgeon" Forum. I just like the word "curmudgeon" and don't get a chance to use it often enough.

Still don't see and age. Thats the problem with being old. You forget or can't make decisions! I'm only 53 but I get tried taking off and putting on my wader to pee. Almost pee more then fish!

I'm glad I'm too young for that old geezer crap. We should just get rid of them all as all they do is take up the closer handicap parking spots.

If I put an age on here somebody would get pissed off because they ain't old enough yet. If you are retired or semi retired you should fit right in. Or if your retired but don't know it yet. I know a few are getting close to me.

I don't wear waders. It's to damn cold to run around barefooted before putting on Waders. Besides where I fish I can do it from the bank of the river, or creek. I don't get wet until I feel I need to.
