Tomorrow I head for Idaho to visit the in-laws (nice folks) for a few days. I hope to steal some time to fish with Poens, something I don't get to do enough of. Then it's off to Oroville and I hope to hit the Similmeeken a time or two. I'll also check Sidley and see what's happening there. This year has been a mixed bag of fishing, great days sprinkled amongst long periods of not fishing. Plenty of skunk too...oh well, that's why they call it fishing. I have had the pleasure of making new friends like Ive and Papafish to name a couple. Been able to see old friends at the Dry Falls gala event. This site and the community it creates continues to grow, new faces, new challenges, and good synergy. Even an old grouch like me is inclined to participate in more getting together, like the open fly tying table at All About the Fly. I hope this next year my need to work on the property will slow down and allow more free time for getting together with y'all and slinging flies... Everyone be safe during this holiday season and come back and let's hit 2005 like we mean it. :clown: :beer2: :thumb:
Roper, Yep, '04 was fun and '05 will be more so. Drive safe, have fun and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Bart
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year back at ya, and to all. Have a safe trip east. My New Year's resolution is to fish more and make one of the gatherings in '05! Micro Brew
Yes, have a safe trip and a Merry Christmas Roper. I look forward to fishing with you again in '05. LB
Roper, See you in 05.. Happy Holidays to you and your wife....I didn't get to chat with you at the last Roundtable...probabaly cuz you snuck out the front door. Anyways travel safe and let us know how you do flinging the fly..
It's a done deal, Roper-we will hit 2005 like we mean it! Merry Christmas to you and G. and the wonder dog Sasha. The outings together were great and we can stand each others cooking as well. We'll do it again for sure. If you decide to take the scenic trip to Oroville feel free to stop by-the snow pack is almost non-existant so far so the drive should be pretty but not taxing. Not as quick as I-90 but a helluva lot prettier. Take good care my man and Happy Holidays to you. Ive
Im holding my breath this time Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you too my dear friend Roper. :thumb:
Happy holidays to everyone. I'm trying to be politically correct. You can have Christ in Christmas, that's OK by me, but there are Jews, Muslims and Pagens and Deists like me out there who should be included in all this as well. Bob, the Always trying to be fair if I can. :ray1:
Bob, Bob, Bob....here we go again....just kiddin my friend. I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy holiday season regardless of race, religion, sexual preference, rod brand, title, gear selection, whatever. Politically correct....bahumbug :clown:

Let it go Bob, just let it go...this was about looking back on 2004 and ahead to 2005. No need for your soapbox...wasn't anything religeous at all.
