Gold Orvis Battenkill LA III with olive green floating Rio Classic Weight Forward six weight line and about 75 yards of Orvis gel-spun backing.

The line and reel are both about a year old. The line probably has about another year left. I clean it regularly but it is nicked in a couple spots. It floats fine, though. The reel has some dings in the finish, especially around the bottom edge, but there's nothing that remotely affects the function of the reel. It's a fine reel for trout, but it simply doesn't have enough backing capacity for steelhead, and I want to have the option of using my six for summer-run steelhead after I move to Washington this fall, so I'm going back to a regular arbor reel that can hold more backing.

    $100 firm.
