Once again, we will be presenting 1-day fly fishing schools at Rockwood Ranch in North Bend. These classes are taught by Derek Young, an Orvis Endorsed guide and owner of Emerging Rivers Guide Services. The classes are fully comprehensive covering: casting lessons; knots and rigging; equipment, accessories and their function; straightforward introduction to entomology; and fly selection. The school is on the North Fork of the Snoqualmie and has a pond stocked with trout. We teach river and lake presentation techniques, streamside safety as well as catch and release (if you're lucky enough to hook a trout)! We provide all equipment and a streamside lunch. Waders are not required, simply dress for the weather. All classes are from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Cost is $185 per class.
