    Springtime on the Yakima, Thursday, March 21st 6pm
    Spring can be a great time to head over and fish the Yakima. Join Orvis Endorsed Guide Derek Young as he talks about the many fly fishing opportunities the Yakima has to offer this spring. Derek will cover fly selection, access points, and techniques to help you be more successful on the water.

    Tie of the Month Skwalas, Sunday, March 24th 3pm
    Join Fishing Manager Jason Cotta as he shares some of his favorite skwala patterns. This is a hands-on seminar with all materials provided. Students must provide their own tools/vises. Class size is limited to 6 students. Call (425)452-9138 to register.

    Intro to Fly Tying Series - $150, Mondays, April 8th 15th, 22nd 6-7 p.m.
    Nothing is more rewarding than catching a fish on a fly you’ve tied. This three night class series is designed to teach students the basics of fly tying. All tools and materials provided. Students will also receive a free Silver Label Tying Kit at the time of the class ($189 value). Class size is limited to 6 students. Call (425)452-9138 to reserve your spot.

    Sea Run Cutthroat School - $100, In-Store Presentation, 10AM Saturday, April 7, On the Water Clinic April 13th
    Join searun angler and Orvis associate Leland Miyawaki for a day of cutthroat trout fishing. This on the water school will cover everything you need to know to start fishing for searun cutthroat on Puget Sound. Topics covered include gear selection, presentation, where to go, and fly selection. School includes lunch and beverages. Students must supply own tackle and wading gear. Class size is limited to 6 students so be sure to sign up soon!

    I wish the Portland area Orvis had this many events going on (or maybe they do and they just don't broadcast them anywhere I'm aware of). That tying class + kit is a deal.
