Besides the great Saturday seminars, food, live music and whisky tastings, we'll have a driftboat casting competition on Sunday, Oct 10.

On Sunday, Oct 17 we'll have free computer casting analysis.

    Computer casting analysis......

And I thought getting critiqued by a fellow angler was bad enough, now a computer! :clown:

    Wouldn't be a bad idea.

It's a way to know what to work on if you want to improve. Pretty cool actually.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how far I can cast a driftboat! :clown: I'm sure the whiskey will help me out w/ that though....

I've heard that Helios 16' 10wt spey rod can toss a Hyde in the dumpster from about 100'

Casting to a fixed target while standing in the bow of a driftboat. Maybe I'll turn a big fan on your face to make it more realistic. For sure, you everyone will cast the same rod and line, probably a Helios 4 or 5 wt.

How are you supposed to win a casting competition with a brand new rod and line? Understand that the helios' have mythical super human qualities that'll pucker my nuts and sing me sweet songs of silky smoothness.... but seriously? Competition on a new rod?
