    Overlake Fly Fishing Club
Meeting & Program Information- September 28th

Fly Fishing Techniques and a Secret River! We are very lucky to have one of the premier fly fishing guides coming to speak to our club. Tim Irish is known as the master of the Yakima River. Tim was the top guide for the Yakima for many years until he decided to take a position as the manager and guide at the Stehekin Lodge. Tim spent 12 years managing the lodge and guiding fishermen on the Stehekin River. Tim is going to share his top strategies and fishing techniques that he has refined over 30+ years of guiding. In addition, he is going to give us the inside scoop on fishing the Stehekin River in the fall. He says the green drake and BWO hatches are unbelieveable. The Stehekin trip would be a fantastic trip to take your wife on. It is a real adventure. You depart from Chelan, WA on a large boat and disembark at the end of Lake Chelan. The Stehekin Lodge sits right on the shore of the lake. The solitude, fishing, and scenery is outstanding. This will be a fun and informative evening.

Finally, there will be membership drive prize drawing for a fly reel (Okuma SLV 7/8). Any club member bringing a guest or a new attendee will receive a free ticket for a chance to win a new fly reel. Also, there will be a 1 weight indoor fly casting competition. The winner will receive a fly box full of flies. In addition, there will be one bottle of wine to win if you can make the trick cast.

    See You There!
