And we have a dry lightening storm approaching. Red flag warnings all over. Here is a picture of my front yard. Normally we can see all the way up the Columbia River and the homes and some mountains. Not today.... It has been this way for days.

We have had a lot of smoke in the Spokane area for several weeks due to the Washington, Idaho and BC fires. Tough on the eyes but make for a lovely sunset.

Very gray down here in the tricities today, with breezes coming from the north

Reminds me of growing up in MT. Lots of fires on many occasions in the summers and weeks spent in a thick smoke. Positive thoughts go out to all those affected!

Getting some rain here on the wet-side (well, was wet-side) of the state. Here's hoping it moves over your way and w/o any further fire starters.

I guess that answers my question on how bad the smoke is ? Waiting for the big rain before we come over for a camping trip.

That green grass lawn looks like a good place to hunt Night-crawlers after dark.

Many years ago before I really got into fly fishing, I used to help my Father in law go out and hunt them down to help him raise them for fishing. We would get permission from several Golf Courses to get them at night. We were allowed on the grounds but had to stay off the greens. Got some big worms at them places.
