    Not sure
I have no idea, and gven the rod's age and value, not sure I ever want to find out. At a taped 20"+ (that's how far the ruler on my float tube goes), that was the largest fish I'd yet landed on cane so was a bit nervous about horsing it too much. I've since learned that bamboo rods (even old ones) are quite robust and have landed even larger fish without babying the rod.

Well, we'll see if I did this right, it's my first attempt at uploading a picture. If all goes well, this is a Beaverhed Brown from this past June.

Doesn't compare to most of the posted pics, but I wanted to contribute something to a great thread. My best Yak 'bow followed by a gorgeous Kettle 'bow (possible redband -- anyone?)

That's a great looking fish from the Kettle, I didn't know they grew that big in there!

Good looking trout on the Yakima as well. Great looking area you're floating there, staying up from the canyon.

Not exactly rapid action, but they sure are pretty fish up there.

I was actually wading the braids for that Yak fish. The boat visible downstream belonged to a couple who were drifting through the main channel. I was just lucky they were nearby, as the lady was kind enough to snap a quick pic for me. I felt pretty awful when she slipped and fell heading back down to her boat...
