While it isn't completely flat on the lower level, there is room for a 70-80 foot cast with minimal backcast but on the upper level, there is a space where we had an 80 ft tent set up for my daughter's wedding and then room of 60 to 80 feet for a backcast so you yoave a 20 ft wide space, basically 150-160 ft long. That certainly is enough room for a demo and if we go to the beach, weather and tide permitting, 100 guys could overhead cast without difficulty.

Ill make the place available. The rest is your decision as you are THE SWAP MEISTER. LOL Whatever suits you, suits me fine. Hopefully the weather will be good. The tide will be way out so the eel grass will be within casting distance, easliy. The grounds should be in good shape as well. I'll set up canopies and tables in the A.M. and drag the BBQ out. The menu is up to the swappers but I would suggest potluck with all attendees contributing something and a bring your own beverage. I have coolers and tubs and will get ice. I have plenty of plastic silverware from the last go round there. We have a few pic nic tables so I'll probably go down the weekend before and get them ready. People can park up the street at the church lot or in the school lot just half a block up the hill. We can accomodate about six or seven cars, however. If I come down early and then take my car home, that will leave enough room for one more. It should be fun. More details as we get closer.

Thanks for your hospitality, Steve! I enjoyed meeting you on Sat. I'll be bringing Matt, so if you have some kiddos on hand, they should have a blast!

My kids will probably be around. Their grandmother (wife's younger sister) is currently residing in the house and they usually spend Friday night there so will probably be around on Saturday morning and want to hang around with me. That's okay. My wife can have some free time.

Awesome, an event on a Saturday that I can actually make! I'm definitely in. I'll bring food, beverages, whatever. Looking forward to it.

Love to drive over and participate, but that is the same weekend as the Sandy Clave. Is there any chance for a change of weekend?
