Rainbow or steelhead question.

    One of my more recent S-River resident rainbows (Jan. 2014). I could easily picture a fish like this getting on the gravel with one its anadromous cousins.

    I kept it because it was a hatchery fish; as much to remove it from the gene pool as for any other reason. The only native summer-run steelhead in the North Fork of the Stillaguamish are the Deer Creek fish.
