replacement motor

    Does anybody know where I can get a replacement motor for my rod building lathe? thanks in advance! :confused:

    You might try a place that deals with sewing machines. I haven't looked yet, but lowes might have something also. We get the motors for our drying motors there.

    Would a electric bathroom fan motor work for you? Not sure of the size of a rod drying motor.

    Grainger has a real nice motor but I bought mine at a thrift store for $2.00

    salvation Army thrift store is a great source. Also rotisserie motors (electric and battery opererated) motor from barbeques. I bought several @ $2.00 each. They break and you toss them couldn't be easier...
