Got mine too, not sure when I'll put them to use, but they look very useful for sure.

Got mine today also. Just wondering why I didn't get my own back - usually get a full complement from each swap.

Suddenly I don't like michaels...rubbing all that sunshine in our faces. Today was nice, partly sunny and 43 degrees at my place.

Got them today. Came thursday/friday, but I was in Denver. Fished the floating Sandlance today. No love, but a great looking pattern! Going to try all these flies out this week hopefully.

Sorry Mumbles, I tried to bring some of the warm, sunny weather back from Florida, but the dang airline must have lost it as it never showed up at baggage claim.

I finally made it back into town and tore into the new arsenal of flies. I looking forward to getting out next week and seeing what they can do. I was able to figure out most of who's flies came from where, but I wish more were tagged. It'd be nice to know which euphasiid pattern turns out to be the winner. A few notes:

Mumbles- Great looking fly. I see it as a great low light option that can not only be used now, but could be used in the rivers as well.

Robast- I like the slightly smaller, slimmed down version of Roger's pattern. I've got a couple places in mind to give it a try.

Gary (Gigharborflyfisher)- I've been looking forward trying out you pattern for a while. I've used your website (websites now) since the beginning. Thanks for sharing the info and keep it coming.

To everyone else... I'm looking forward to sharing the success stories with your creations. Thanks for making my first fly swap a good time.

    Mike

No problem Jim. It is a great fly all year round, but just wait until the chum fry start migrating out... should be soon acutally. I always have at least 6 of em in the box. Did you get into any cutties or mostly rezzies?
