Bought a new Sage Flight and the guy threw this in with it. I am a stream trout fisherman, what if anything can I use this for? Not much I am thinking.

Not knowing the 'details' of which line (grain weight/length) I'd still hazard a guess ... if you're a one hander rod guy .... not much.

This line could be used in a 8-9-10 weight single handed rod, it would be better to attached a lower handle to it and use sustain anchor casting.

Agree with Mr. Y on the single hander rod application. General 'rule of the thumb' is with a AFTMA line you'd 'up to' for a 2-hander. A 275 grain head would be about right for a 4/5 wt two hander.
