Looking for some advice... a friend of mine is flying up from texas in 2 weeks and was hoping to get out on a river to do some flyfishing for trout. With work, I haven't fished this early in the season in the 6 years I've been in the NW. Anyone have any advice for what might be fishable this time of year?

What kind of fishing are you looking for? The North Fork of the Stilly might well be in shape since its headwaters aren't at such high elevations as the Skykomish. The Sky and the Snoqualmie could well be high into July because of deep snowpack and a very cold spring. The Yakima will probably stay pretty high because of irrigation releases through most of the summer.
